I am an Oregonian, but I have lived abroad in Asia for about four years. I taught myself crochet while living in Japan. I was inspired by amigurumi style dolls as well as the “kawaii” fashion and decided to bring that back with me to Portland. It started during Covid-19 when I decided to bring some kitty fun to my face masks as I had seen in the face mask fashion in Asia. Since then I have expanded my kitty accessories and even occasionally crochet sweaters for my sphynx cat Sid.
